WTB 6 speed trans+swap parts

Alright so anyone capable of answering a phone and keep open communication, think for more then a minute at a time, and that isnt a complete idot have a 6-speed layin around. ive been on a transmission goosehunt, the first person said he had a world class t-5 so i was gonna jast say screw it and take a 5 speed n send it to be built then a week or so later found out it wasnt (not his fault the paperwork said it was a wc t-5 instead of a reg), then i found a good priced 6 speed from oak brook by some toolbag named at9305rs that was selling one, i called him and said id pick it up cash in hand, literally over 15 days later he never calls back after i leave repeated pm's and phone calls with my number and i find out its sold. so can someone that has a 6 speed in good or above condition with everything to do a swap please contact me. thanks alot.

John~

John,
I do not have the everything to do the swap but I do have a Spohn T56 crossmember. $110 plus shipping if you want it.

John,
Do not know if you’re interested but I thought I’d run it by you. I see you’re looking for a 6-speed transmission; well I have one. Only it is from a 2002 Trans AM WS.6. I’ve got the engine, transmission, rear end, etc… and it's STRONG. Does any of this interest you?

Re: WTB 6 speed trans+swap parts

The LS1 T-56 tranny has a different bellhousing and electronic hookups and without some expensive mods and aftermarket parts it won't just bolt up to your 383.

My opinion, just stick with a T-56 that was behind a LT1. I don't believe the T-56 behind a LS1 is any stronger than the T-56 behind a LT1. I've also heard there are some problems with the LS1 T-56.
