WTB: 3.1L Parts

WTB: 3.1L Parts

I have a truck with a 3.4L swapped into it, and I'm going to be swapping some 3.1L parts onto it for better fit and performance, also switching to a 1227727 ECU.

I want to buy an EGR tube, throttle cable bracket, and I'd take the whole front end accessory brackets if someone has a set.

I already have a 3.1L intake set that I'll be swapping on, along with some of the original 2.8L stuff from the Trooper. I'll need what I mentioned and no doubt other misc parts for this swap. Anyone have a 3.1L core I can get parts from?

I'm in Hood River, Oregon.

Is the car complete now?

I've been active on 60ºV6 for years, great resource, but not many people with the RWD iron heads to get parts from there.

Does your 3.1L have a 5-speed and therefore an AIR pump? Air conditioning? What ECU? Wiring intact?

My Isuzu had A/C and I'd like to get it working again someday. But as everything fit with the 3.4L, I was not able to install a compressor (3.4L had a different compressor location, I used a bypass pulley). The 3.1L is more similar to the Trooper placement. If I use the right side brackets from the Trooper, my Alternator will then clear the battery and I will get the AIR pump back. But the left side brackets won't clear the 3.1 or 3.4 intake with the A/C compressor, and I would have to relocate my coil packs. So if I use the Trooper right side and the 3.4L left side, then everything will clear except there will be no place for the A/C compressor at all (which as only been working three months in the eight years I've owned the truck anyway).

If I can get a full set of 3.1L brackets, then I have a chance to get everything to fit. I'd have to use both sides of that with how the belt is routed and the tensioner works. I can live without A/C as I have, but I really want my battery back in the engine bay (doesn't clear the alternator with the 3.4L brackets). Having the battery in the cargo area just isn't working for me.
