Need a T-5 full swap to replace 700R4

Looking for a T-5 full swap for a reasonable price. I'm fed up with my automatic transmission and want to go back to a manual. If anyone has one for reasonable I'll see about scrounging some money up somehow. Spent all my money on getting the 350 in the car and getting the 700R4 to work, so I'm on limited funds trying to get the car drivable again.

If anyone wants to trade for some reason, this 700R4 worked first night good, but not since. Installed B&M Shift Improver Kit and thoroughly cleaned transmission valve body area and outside.

Thanks, Leon

Re: Need a T-5 full swap to replace 700R4

I would love to but I can't afford 650 right now unless I can sweet talk a local loan place. Moving on-post(Ft Campbell, KY) and the Army wants pro-rated rent for the rest of the month, not going to have moch money available until after that and not sure how much even then.

Re: Need a T-5 full swap to replace 700R4

If your not in a huge hurry and are willing to pay for shipping, I'll have a complete T-5 setup in a couple of weeks It's out of an 84 TA. Trans shifts great and it has a new Zoom clutch/pp with less than 150 miles on it. Have a new flywheel(installed when the new clutch was put in) for a 1 piece RMS and a used one with surface rust for a 2 piece RMS. Has a Hurst short throw shifter. The only thing that is not going with the setup is the pedals and torque arm mount. Starter included as well. $475 + shipping. BTW, It's a cable driven speedo.

Re: Need a T-5 full swap to replace 700R4

I'm in Plainville, Kansas. I would guess shipping to be $100-125 range. I would ship with UPS in two different packages. I will charge actual shipping cost, so anything left over from the shipping money would be shipped back to you. Sound like a fair deal?

Sounds fair. Currently I am waiting on finding out what happened to the 700r4. It's possible that it's only the converter so imay be in luck. Keep in touch.

If all goes well, it's coming out of the car today. First day off in a while so I should find time to remove it.
