Hello all. I am having some bad luck and hope someone here can help. I need to replace a blown engine in my 82 camaro, I do not have a big bunch of money, so I need to do this on the low dollar diet. All I can spend is up to 800 dollars. I know that it wont be a new engine unless City motor supply in dallas can keep it close to that, or Blaines down in dallas for about the same ammount. And I need it to be for a carbed engine. I did try a used engine and it lasted all of 500 miles(I know you get what you pay for) The place I got it from is willing to help by knocking down the price on another engine but I just cant go back to them after this. So if anyone in the north texas area could help by recomending a place that would be great, I just cant afford to do this again, or I might have to sell it and get something else, And I dont realy want to. I live in Carrollton Texas just north of Dallas. I am looking to do this on or around the 15th of April, Thats when I will have both the money and a truck to haul it in.
