wtb 383 rotating assembly/or pieces

I would like to buy a 1pc rear main seal 383 balanced rotating assembly for $400 plus shipping but it has to have dished pistons. I will pay $125 for just the crank. if i get the crank i dont need rods cause ill just have mine refurbished and get pistons from summit for retail... if im a little too cheap just let me know what you have and how much your asking also need the 400 balancer will pay $40 shipped i just dont want to pay retail thanks

retail =
crank $180
Rods $120
pistons rings $195
balancer $65

Re: wtb 383 rotating assembly/or pieces

I've got a stock 400 crank. I picked it up when I was going to do my 383 build but I'm going a different route now.

Re: wtb 383 rotating assembly/or pieces

the rods are priced a little steep for me but that is a good price for forged

Re: wtb 383 rotating assembly/or pieces

the crank from a 400sbc is a 2pc rear main seal

by the by i have a 2pc rear main seal block thats fully machined, 30 over new freeze plugs and cam bearings installed, 150 and come pick it, youll just have to have it honed for rings and clearanced for the stroker crank

Re: wtb 383 rotating assembly/or pieces

I'm also running a 1pc block and only planned on getting a crank and reusing my pistons and rods for now. I saw a couple cast cranks at a swap meet over the weekend for 2pc blocks and they were only $80.

I have what you need "383" and the externally balanced Street damper. It may be a bit more then what you want to spend but these are new parts. Check out my posts. Thanks! Kenny
