Speedo conversion Parts required
Hi, I am looking for a speed sender (fits into tranny in place of the cable)
and a VSS buffer (yellow box) to match.
I have fitted a 1988 GTA dash cluster to my 1982 TransAm and require these for the speedometer to work (original was cable driven).
I suspect that any of the third gen combinations would work as all I need is a clean signal from the VSS buffer to pass to my speedo corrector box and thence to the speedo.
thanks
John

Re the vss sensor.
Is it a two wire one and a generator type, which is what the 88's used.
