I lost 3rd & 4th gears out of my 91 GTA. I have looked at several rebuilders but can not decide who to use or whether to just buy one already rebuilt off of eBay or Craig's List. If anyone can offer advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

cannot offer you any one local to you, but i would recommend someone close to you with at least a 1 year warranty, so if u have any claims your not palleting the unit up and sending it out freight. i can fit aa 700 in the trunk of my sunfire, much easier to get to them than a freight company or paying freight to get one sent to you. just my opinion. good luck. also you may wanna google the tranny shops near u. 4 outta 5 stories you see online will be bad things. unless they r one hell of a shop. see what kinda problems r out there and make your judgement on where to drop it off at. just buy a rebuilt th400. they work a looottt better and theyre a dime a dozen.
