looking for a power steering bracket for 88 firebird formula 350...
Just got the original engine rebuilt and its is looking amazing. Cant wait to get it in the car again, but theres a problem. The used engine I had put in it, since I didnt have time to fix the original when it was giving me problems, refuses to give me the power steering bracket off of it. Or atleast that is what I'm lead to believe it is called. Its a big aluminum piece that bolts to the front right of the engine with the power steering pulley and all at the bottom of it, the alternator also bolts to the top of it. For some odd reason, there are star bit bolts in the engine, and the shop that slapped this engine in must of put them in too tight as it is stripping my star bits trying to unbolt this thing. I can't find this part anywhere, so it's either very rare, or I'm just not calling it by the right name. Any help?

I've got a good solid undamaged one I will let you have for $35 plus the shipping. PM or email me your email address for pics and other info. Can provide a set of the original bolts, but you might prefer to go with standard headed ones. LMK, Henry
