4th gen Y-pipe
hey guys, i'm in desperate need of a LT-1 Y-pipe... preferably from a camaro, though my motor was out of a caddy, so, whatever works... i expect to have to hack it up.
I'm in Austin TX.
Please let me know if you have something.
STOCK is preferred... and cheap..!
or.. aftermarket and........ cheap!

Re: 4th gen Y-pipe
I've got 1 from a 95...... factory converter is gutted, from a 95 Z28.
It's pretty big, kinda' heavy / awkward and will not be cheap to ship from RI to TX. (I'm GUESSING $35-40.) If your OK with the added expense of shipping it to you - feel free to make a REASONABLE offer for it and post your ZIP code.

Re: 4th gen Y-pipe
sorry, i didn't see this post! it didn't notify me either unfortunately.
and yeah you're probably right about the shipping.
the thing is, i have a motor from a 95 caddy fleetwood, and i'm second guessing myself as to whether the angles of the headers will match up or if i'm going to have to cut a bunch of slices into it like i did my factory 91 y-pipe (which in the end won't work for me)
the other question is, i'm still not sure if the 4th gen y-pipe will fit under my 91 or if there are clearance issues, or if it does something stupid like... stick the cat out the drivers side of the car or god knows what.
the other problem is, i'm incredibly tight on funds, i've only got a few hundred left to complete this project, and it would suck to buy this and have it shipped to figure out that it won't work for me. i cant afford that kind of mistake at all.
let me look into this a little more!!! thanks
