Re: tpi fuel tank sending assembly

actually guys, it's kinda cool that the OP found one locally,

i need one too. badly.

the problem is, i can get them on ebay brand new for 80 to 85 and free shipping.

also, i'm on a VERY.... very tight budget.

Would either of you guys be willing to sell me one for say 65 with shipping? i think that's still fairly reasonable, but is also $65 more than i -actually- have to spend. otherwise i'd absolutely give the 85 for it.

I wouldn't ask if i weren't hurting for cash right now.

please consider it and send me a PM. i'll paypal the first person to get back to me with a yes! im sick of my car being on stands taking up room in my shop. i gotta get it back on the ground so i can move it. and.. of course get it running.

thanks guys

the one that indianavette posted is the exact one i need

Re: tpi fuel tank sending assembly

$70 shipped ( with insurance ) to Austin, TX. ( PayPal OK )

If you have to have it @ $65 than send a Money Order and drop the insurance (AT YOUR OWN RISK). If you need Delvery Confirmation please add $1.

Was blasted to remove surface rust a few months ago, and has been hangin' in my garage since. Send me a PM if your seriously interested.

Re: tpi fuel tank sending assembly

what was that one out of? and, what is it coated in?

also, what is the black thing uh.............. god.. this is going to be hard to describe haha.. um....

right above where the fuel pump mounts, there's a black plastic thingy that isn't pictured in the photo at the top (which is the exact same one i have) ..

im sure they are compatible, im just curious what it is... PM me your info i'll send a payment and get the ball rolling. i'm absolutely serious and definitely need it so i can get my car going.

where's it coming from and what shipping method? USPS is definitely the cheapest, i have no problem with it,

i'll send 70 through paypal to account for fees n crap no problem, just let me know, and

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

um... well, with that said, the fuel gauge is what is screwed up on mine,

have you tested it since they blasted it? i'm kinda worried about them screwing up the gauge by getting sand in it etc. the tiny little thin copper wire is really fragile in there.

then i'd be stuck right where i was and 70 bux poorer haha.

Re: tpi fuel tank sending assembly

I don't know what Fuel Injected car it originally came from. Wires are Grey, Purple and Black. It's painted red with 500 degree Engine Paint.

Black thing is what fuel pump gets pushed onto.

Shipping is Parcel Post (Priority Mail is $62 to Austin) Don't expect it to arrive for about a week.

Tank Empty:

Tank Full:

I'll send you a PM with the remaining details ASAP.
