I need a wireharness for my 1987 firebird. I don't need the ecu I really just need the wires from the drivers side firewall. I have the digital dash and a digital tranny. Please some one help me. I'm doing a Tpi to carb swap.

If you're doing a TPI-to-carb swap, why do you need the drivers side
wiring harness?
The TPI harness (connected on the pass. side), and the main eng. harness
(connected on the driver side) is installed as a single unit. When converting
to carb, there's 2 options after removing all the sensors/connectors:
(1) leave the tpi wiring in place -- neatly bundled up or otherwise.
(2) unwrap the shared legs with the main eng. harness, and carefully remove
the tpi circuits, which can then be bundled up closer to the pass. side,
or removed altogether.
The drivers side harness contains the basics like main power (in to fuse
block), sensors (in to gauges), and lights (out to bulbs).
These harnesses are very similar from year-to-year, but not absolutely.
I think you'll be much better off cleaning out what you don't need,
than trying to graft in some other cut-up unit.
Good luck,

Good luck,

Thanks man. I have nothing of my old harness left. I am hoping the 86 firebird harness will work. Like all the headlights/wipers etc. I was just concerned about the digital dash. You are right I do only need a couple wires for my setup. Your help was greatly appretiated. I am still hopefully going to find a digital dash harness.
