is that the ball thingy on the one line coming off the tank? If so I should have one here

 

I've been looking for a new one myself. looks like this-



It's a discontinued part, I'm looking for a NOS part but so far I've only see used ones for sale. I know the one on my Firebird is FUBAR'D, I'm afraid that the old used ones I see for sale might not be much better.

 

yep lonestars pic is correct, mine fell apart.

 

Has anyone thought to look in to the after market? I found this. It is over priced though, but looks well built.

I ended up buying one from a local NJ guy, and after cleaning my factory one out with various solvents etc, I got my old one to work.. so I still have the one I bought ... I paid him $30 for it, which I thought was a bit steep, but I'm willing to sell it for $20+ shipping. it's in basically new condition. I can try to post a photo if you would like... remind me later or PM me, I'm not at home at the moment

Hi:

Apparently My GM Fuel tank vent 10033125 is history. Got gas on Friday, 85 TA dies in the middle of the intersection. After Fuel spooling out of the Gas Tank, not good and had to get flatbedded.

Looking for a New or Good Used GM Fuel tank vent GM part 10033125, if anyone has any in good shape, please let me know. I would buy a couple of them

I would probably say no.. :-(

 

I sort of figured it would be different. I just wonder if it vents in the same way. They seem to be really simple. It would be great to find a compatible replacement.

 

That vent you posted looks to go on the tank itself, ours is on the end of a hose.

Hi, I am using the one from Summit. I removed the charcoal canister and installed this one on the end of the hose. Works great, no gas smell.

I have one one I just got. It was cleaned and reassembled. The bottom piece that snaps into the mount cracked so it was superglued. It's good to go
