WTB: T5 trans- good or bad
WTB: T5 trans- good or bad
Looking for V8 T5 trans- WC or NWC- will be behind a V6 in 1700lb car so NWC should be fine. Prefer V8 trans for ratios but will consider V6 T5.
Will consider good (ready to bolt in) or bad (needs rebuild or ??) to use as fitting mule for my swap. I live in Texas but will be travelling from SW Missouri back home later this week.
Thanks

Pardon my ignorance, but which mounting face (GM or Ford) does your transmission have. I know some of the V6 T5s use the Ford pattern but don't know which ones.
Thanks

Well mine is gm from what I been finding out as I need a trans for my 85 trans am with a built 350 the main differences in the ford and Chevy is input and output shaft and the mounts for trans to bell holes are in different location and if useing the ford clutch instead of gm only have to redrill the bell but not totally sure a friend told me to find a tremmic out of a stang or t-56 from cobra and use it
