WTB T5 VSS
as the title says, i need a VSS for my t5. preferably with the gear for a 3.42 rear end, if not, i can buy one.

You can get a VSS at the parts store. The gears, on the other hand, are another animal. You will need to look in the VSS hole and make sure the drive gear IS NOT the red one because you need the purple one and that one is a royal PITA to find. You will need an 18 tooth driven gear for the end of the VSS shaft, which is white.

ive got the correct drive gear, VSS is COMPLETELY discontinued. NO ONE carries one. not even rock auto

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the vss part of the speedometer head in cable driven units. All that is in the transmission is the housing that holds the driven gear and connects it to the cable.
