I picked up an explorer 8.8 with Posi and 3.73 for $50, sent it to Josh at TNT Fabrication, and got back a bolt-in 8.8, powder-coated black with all mounts and new custom axles, for a little under $1000. Thats just another option besides those 3. It also fits in the car a little nicer than a 9"

The 8.8 can handle a bunch. Setup well over 300 when the fox stangs were dominating the 1/4 mile. Several were in pro competition for a long time.
