I have a stock 305 TBI I'm building and looking to save some coin as well. Car is also my daily. Classifieds didn't seem to have much so I'm seeing what y'all have. I'm in search of an LT1 cam and any other good parts to give it a little performance bump. Open to anything. Let me know if you can help!

 

id go to your local parts yard and pull a 350 from a late model car/truck--make sure it a roller cam engine, and if youre yard is good enough get a 99 up real vortec motor with vortec heads. Then you'll have a darn near 100 hp boost over your current motor

 

^will also need an edelbrock intake for vortec and a TBI to q jet adapter
