Car: '79 Pontiac Trans Am
Engine: 400
Transmission: Super T10 4spd
Axle/Gears: 8.5 10 bolt with 2.73 gears
Functional power bulge air cleaner for carb
Can anyone direct me to a power bulge air cleaner/trap door setup? I would prefer a whole setup (hood piece and air cleaner) from a carb car. I found a setup on eBay for nearly $300 but it looks kind of pricey. Are these air cleaners worth that much?
I'm looking at utilizing this on a 2nd gen 80-81 Pontiac Firebird Turbo hood. My main reason I don't want to spend a lot is because I'm not sure if the engine positioning will work with a 2nd gen "power bulge" style hood.

I have the under hood piece and air cleaner lid with gasket from a carb car

I'm looking for the air cleaner top with rubber gasket or the whole assembly, anyone have one?
