Some day I will do the same. I understand the drum brakes are OK compared to factory discs of the same years. I also understand a limited slip differential can be retrofitted into your current axle. But will wait to hear comments of the forum about options.

 

I have 3.73s and factory aluminum drums off an 84 or 85 Z28. They work fine. I'm not racing circle track.
