I am looking for a new or used 10 bolt posi differential for 1986 Camaro IROCZ with 4 wheel disc brakes. I need minimum of 3:73 and would prefer 4:11 or 4:10. I need the diff carrier complete. do not need axle housing and do not want to dis-assemble the gear set for installation.

 

I have the Auburn style diff and 3.73 gearset that I just removed from my 87 irocz in march 2018. the gears are richmond 3.73 with about 60,000 miles on them and zero issues. the diff is worn out and has 172,000 miles on it, but still worked when i removed it. it does have 1 of the 5 torx headed style bolts that hold the diff case together snapped off at the head, but the other 4 are in there good and tight. ring gear is still attached as are bearings. what kind of price were you thinking anyways?

 

I have a set of 4.10 GM gears for 88$ shipped if interested, I also a 28 spline auburn posi but you would need 88 up axles as your 86 has 26 spline axles in it
I don't understand comment about disc brakes and housing not needed and all if you dont want to tear it down??
