WTB Edelbrock TES headers specific y pipe Edelbrock/Dyno Don
I bought a used GMMG exhaust and a set of Edelbrock TES non-smog headers for $100. So, REALLY cheap... Does anyone have a brand new, or lightly used set of Edelbrock headers specific dyno don y pipe, or Edelbrock brand compatable y pipe. Figured I'd ask her before placing an order through TDS this weekend in case someone has a set lying around collecting dust.

You don't want the edelbrock y pipe. I reached out to don 5-6 yrs ago about the y pipe for the TES headers. He said he would make a y pipe for the edelbrocks. He brought up the y pipe and how much better his flowed vs edelbrocks. The first pic is edelbrocks y. The third pic is dons for his headers but he has the same setup for the edelbrocks. The edelbrock y is terrible. After talking w don more, he brought up the collectors on the edelbrocks and once we discussed my HP goal I ordered a full set of headers w a y pipe. That said, I had the edelbrocks on for 20 years and they were solid. I never had leaks or any issues. The y was a massive restriction and primaries are a little pinched at the collector. I feel like for a 300-350hp setup the edelbrock headers are a great choice w dons y pipe.
100 for the headers it a great price. Those looks really clean! That GM exhaust is supposed to sound mean.

To be honest... if my ls heads and cam kit sells in the next few days, then I will probably bite the bullet and buy a full set of dyno don headers and matching y pipe and just sell both sets of edelbrock headers I have both on and off the car. I really want coated headers for the longevity... its a bone stock 305 tpi currently that i have plans to do an intake, runner, and possibly a cam swap. So I doubt it'll see 300 hp. But those dyno don headers look sharp.
