WTB Partial Spool of .035 Mig Wire for Welding Rear Axle Tubes Royal 44-30 Or Ni 55
I'm looking to weld the tubes on my rear axle (Factory 10 bolt) My research says you need to use a special higher nickel welding wire to avoid cracking and brittleness. I plan to weld with my welder using .035 tips. Based on my reading, I'm most interested in Royal 44-30 if anyone had some left over that would be awesome, because I can use it with the ar / co2 gas I already have for mig welding on steel. I've also heard that most Nickel 55 type wires can also work well, but may require special gas, or not work as well with my gas.
New 2 lb spools of this stuff seem to cost between $100 and $130 online, so hopefully I can find someone that only used half a spool and doesn't plan on needing the rest... Let me know what you have, and what you have left and how much you're thinking for it...
My location is 60047 if we need to discuss shipping costs.

I ended up buying the Royal welding wire myself. It ran really well with the normal ar-co2 gas. I may be willing to sell what's left of the roll to recover some funds... let me know if interested.
