Looking for a posi disc rear end to replace my stock 2.89 geared drum rear end. Only looking in Florida. 3.42 gears or higher is preferred.

 

I have an 02 3.42 posi with brand new brakes and e brake cables near Clearwater. $400 for the setup

im also in CT. I know a few guys that will do a rebuild on your current rear if you need.

 

Appreciate the offer FC. I can do my own work, but currently the 84 has an open diff, drum brakes. I wanna make it a 3.73, (or 3.42) posi, and convert to disc. I already have a 2nd gen, (73 T/A) with the parts from a stock 80 T/A WS-6 4wdisc, to do the 3.42 posi in the 73. Thinkin about doin that to the 84, or just swapping the entire rear, if one can be found. Don't care about condition, just as long as it's rebuildable. And thanks for the reply. (Stay warm.) :O
