buildin a 350, any suggestions 4 me
I just recently bought a 350 4 bolt main out of a chevy truck and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for the rebuild. I want it to push at least 400 hp with no blower or anything.

Car: 82 Berlinetta/57 Bel Air
Engine: L92/LQ4 (both w/4" stroke)
Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E
Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
Basic rebuild with flat-top pistons, 64cc aftermarket heads, appropriate cam, all new exhaust.
How much power you actually get out of it depends upon the induction. 400 hp with carb fairly easy. 400hp with TPI - much more expensive.
Not to flame, but: 1) your question is more of a tech nature than swap; and 2) an answer probably would have come much more quickly if you had provided more details on what you have.
We're happy to help, but have to have something to go on. Like, why do you think you need 400 hp?
