I am installing a 1971 Pontiac 400 in a 1987 TransAm. I am using an AJE Y2K member with coil overs. So the stock cross member will be gone. Anyone know of a header that will fit for sure?? A 1977 firebird has from frame rail to frame rail 28 1/2" I have 31. the motor will be installed with motor plates. Summit says that their header sum-g9020 might fit. I feel my problem will be ground clearance. If anyone has done a pontiac big block into a 3rd gen f-body I would appreciate any hints etc.
