A few simple 5.7 questions???
I presently have a 5.0 LG4 305 Carb. in my 86 Trans Am. What I am thinking about doing is finding a 5.7 TPI from another third gen. and rebuilding it and make the swap. Has anyone done this? Will all of my wiring and computer work? What all is needed for this swap? I want all the accessories and computer to be functional. Any help?????

I appreciate your response. So then when I begin looking for another motor, I will need the computer and wiring from it? What else will I need off of the 5.7 car? Any ideas which year third gen. had the best 5.7 TPI? Also anyone out there looking to sell there tired 5.7 and all the componants? Thanks again for the help and replies........
