I am in the middle of doing a LT1 swap into my '91 RS which had the 305 TBI. My question is will a 4th gen Y pipe fit with no problems ? I had a SLP Y pipe off of a '95 Firehawk given to me, and I really don't want to have to cut it up. I will also be using the stock LT1 exhaust manifolds too.

maybe if its off an early single cat 4thgen but I doubt it.

 

I have a 93 LT1 y-pipe sitting in my garage, single cat ...it doesn't fit ! trust me ...
