Fuel Tank Vent and Heater Lines on LT1
I am almost complete and LT1 swap in an 86 IROC and plan to moun the ECM where the charcoal canister used to be. The new ECM program has all emissions related controls removed and cannot control the canister purge solenoid.
Any suggestions on what can I do with the fuel tank vent line? I am thinking routing the line to under the front of the car (near wher it is now) and just installing a small breather on it. Bad idea to have the fumes under the hood so am not 100% sure.
Also my LT1 is out a Roadmaster, any specifics on where to run the heater lines out of the water pump and from the rear cylinder head (used to go to TB)? I plan to simply tap the old TB line to the existing heater hose exit line that runs straight into the rad, and the heater feed line to one of the outlets on the pump. Any othet good ideas??
What about the other outlet on the pump?
Thanks for the help
