350 Block $50.00
This guy want to sell me a Standard Short Block 350, 2 bolts main, Casting # 3970010. I know the this block have a high nickle.
Do you think this will be a nice block to build as a 383. He just took it out of a 70 Chevy Impala. He only wants $50.00 for it with crank, pistons, and rods. It has alot of oil buildup in the lifter gallery and will need to be Hot Tank and Magna Flux. My educated guess is I cant go wrong for 50.00 bucks. Now I need some recommendation on where to buy a good streetable 383 stroker kit to produce about 375-430 ft/tq. I want to build it to match my Pro-Built 700R4 Transmission and A.C.T. 3000 Stall.
Recommendation highly encourage.
