Does this sound good to u?
Im getting my engine replaced next month and i have been calling around. I came across a place called Doherties Machine Shop. I called them up and asked them how much it would cost to get a 350 engine for a TPI set up. He said $2310 for the engine, belts, hoses, clamps, fluids, and tune up and instalation. The engine has about 275hp and is remanufactured. It comes with a 7yr. 70,000 mile gaurentee. I figured in for some other miscelaneous parts and i would be in and out of their in $3000 or a little less. does this sound ok?

ether thats too cheap or i am getting ripped off.
i'm paying $4,200 (well $1,200, insurance has $3K of it)
to swap a 350 into a 305 car. new engine same specs as a L98, that includes everything, parts, labor, shipping etc.....

Thanks for the replys! :hail: I have decided not to go with them and go through someone that would custom build me an engine 350 for a TPI set up, with forged pistons, mild cam (285 lift), and it is ballanced for $1725, all total after they send it to the shop and redo everything including a hypertech chip and all fluids and tune up for $4310. It also comes with a 3yr 50,000 mile warenty plus these guys are actually ASE certified!
Im getting all this done as soon as i come back from vacation wich will be the third week of August.
