Yes, Vette has aluminum heads (~'86-1/2 on). Shortblock and cam the same. Compression is higher because the aluminum heads have 58cc chambers vs. the 64cc of the iron heads (to make up for the power loss due to the higher aluminum heat transfer).
Vette intake is different because the aluminum heads don't have exhaust cross-over passages (different EGR setup), and the center two intake bolts on each side are the same as the others (unlike '87-later cast iron L98).

Also there is a debate about the block i've had two an 88 an 89 vette both came with 4 bolt mains. They weren't repo blocks or warranties yet other swear that they only came withn 2 bolt mains........
