How much did you pay for them? A brand new pair can be had for a little over $400 from your local friendly GM dealer.
Whether they are "good" depends upon who you ask.
The pros are that they do flow well, have raised intake ports, and have a revised combustion chamber shape. They do have accessory mount bolt holes on the ends, and "standard" SBC exhaust will bolt up to them.
The cons are that a Vortec-specific intake manifold is required (not a lot of choices there), they are factory-quality truck motor castings, the valve springs are junk if you have any kind of a performance cam (more than ~.460" lift at the valve), the rocker studs are press-in and should be converted to screw-in if a performance cam is used, and they require self-aligning rockers. If you have emissions concerns, they don't have exhaust cross-over passages, so you have to plumb exhaust up to the intake manifold for the EGR valve to work.
They also require center-bolt valve covers. Whether that is a pro or con - ???.
That's about it. You decide if the pros outweigh the cons.
Who put the 350 in your car?
