Edelbrock 3500 EFI

i searched and didnt find much discussion about this system... but im planning on getting a V8 car soon

since this is a stand alone system... should i settup my cars wiring and such as if i was converting to a carb? most likely will get TBI car, do i need to change any of the dash harnesses? im not worried about the trans because i know by ditching the comp it wont lockup, and ill get a kit for that or make my own switch, but im more worried about the other wires and such...

i would think id pretend im switching to a carb, since im not using the engines harness or anything, but then instead of using the carb intake, id use the edelbrock's. and yes id have a totally different, 350 longblock, not the stock 305.

thanks in advance

im thinking of getting a GM goodwrench 350, porting the heads a little bit, getting a little bigger cam, full exhaust, 1.6 rockers, i dont want to go too crazy since this is gonna be my daily driver, since im expecting some pretty good mielage from this system.. but i may be wrong, i dont want to sacrafice too much low end though... the motor is rated at about 250hp/300ft.lb, how much power would i see? cam reccomendations?
