Maybe its just me, but it seems that an Lo5 350 would be a great swap in a 3rd gen F-body for a little more giddie up. Wouldn't be a monster, but would feel much stronger than the L03. Anyone done this swap? Know someone who has? Seems to be pretty straight forward, am I wrong?
I have it, had an LG4 before though. I just swapped it in a few weeks ago. An LO3 to LO5 would probably go more smoothly than my swap, which was pretty easy.
If you want details on my swap and some results, check out this post:

Hey, thanks a lot flyway! I would love to see your track times, post em here as soon as you got em alright? For a complete engine swap, that doesn't seem too bad. I wouldn't be able to do it myself, but with a little help, it may be possible. Thanks again.
For some reason my car was idling weird but it seemed to race ok (probably my intake manifold acting up).
R/T..........0.814
60'..........2.577
330'........6.860
1/8.........10.407
MPH........68.90
1000......13.499
1/4.........16.110
MPH........84.61
Certainly not spectacular, but a full second and 5 mph faster than my old engine. Once I fix all of the problems on my car (EGR, intake manifold), it'll probably be down in the 15's. Also, I was running 93 octane fuel and 1/2 tank of gas.
