i bought a 350 that i am currently installing into an 89 cam that had a 2.8. I was wondering if anyone had pics of the way the brackets (alt,p/s) are mounted on the motor, i never had this part of the 350 together let but i have the brackets. Any help would be greatly apperciated. Thnks in advance

 

What year is the 350?

 

Its a 80-85 chevy 350 w a 4 bolt main it was originally a truck motor but the brackets are basically the same up to 86 when GM introduced the serpentine belt system. I happen to have both sets so it wouldnt really matter as long as its a carbed motor without the emmision b/s

I have just fitted a 1991 serpentine system to the front of my 1977 truck 350. There was 1 bolt hole missing in the front of the passenger side head that my engine shop drilled and tapped for me. If you are fitting the 2 ally brackets, just offer them up to the heads and you will see where the holes should be. Here is a photo that helped me (pinched from this forum I think!). I have others if you want them.
