A few things that I didn't take from the doner car that I didn't think about when I did my swap were the throttle cable and the fuel pump are different. Other wise all the standard stuff will apply harness, ECM, full motor with brackets. You should also think about what the extra torqe will do to other things tranny, rearend, bars and arms ect. I have t-tops so I added sub frame connectors and the wonder bar I also upgraded the brakes to help stop the extra power.

thanx for replying, man. i have bought an 87 pontiac t/a firebird that use to have a tune port in it. my dad has it, i paid 400. im taking the t/a wing, the rear end (do you think it would be better than mine, w/ 245/50's i cruse 1500 rpm's at 55) i think the t/a should be geared better. and finally im taking the wire harness and the things you recomended w/ the computer that already has a performance chip in it. pretty good for 400 $. the motor will be a brand new rebuilt complete long block from autozone. they want about 1,750$. i'm saving. a list and a walk through of what exactly i need to do the transplant would be greatly apreciated. anyone need gold honey comb 16 inch wheels?
