LS1 rockers ?

This guy has a 2000 LS1 and is upgrading his factory LS1 rockers to 1.8 and I am wondering if anyone knows if his old LS1 1.6s will fit my '91 305 heads ?

thx,
RP.

I think the LS1's came stock with 1.7's if I'm not mistaken. You might wanna check though

1.7s

Tom91bird -- I edited my post to read 'factory' LS1 rockers. I am trying to find out if the factory LS1 rockers can be applied to 081 or 083 (305/350) heads ?

thx in advance,
RP.

Not to mention going 1.7 might screw up your valvetrain geometry!

No they wont fit, LS1 factory rockers are a pedistal type mount not a stud mount. It would be possible to convert but not worth the money for little benefit and a whole lot of headaches.
