Building 383

I want to build a 383 but i have never worked on a motor before and i really dont know how to do much, but i want to be able to show what i have done to my own car...

Building a 383 with all new parts and trying to get over 500 hp... with a miniram setup, what do you guys think it would cost for all the parts? I know its possible, but can i learn a build a 383 myself for the first time and how much trouble would it be for a person in my situation...

Where do you guys learn to build a motor? I def want to read about it and build my own engine...

I dont think i want to go about starting a 383 from cratch...

I was just thinking to have a shop build me the motor and i put it in. I am gonna do my own suspension work i think as well as intalling a new rear end and maybe the transmission?

Would you guys think it'd be possible for a beginner at working on a car to be able to do atleast that with some good sources?

I dont want to start takin apart things and not be able to install anything new... I just dont want to go somewhere and have them do everything
