I am preparing a 96 F-body Lt1 for trasnplant into my 89 Formula.
Has anyone connected the flexible EGR line that would connect to the exhaust manifold to a header yet? I purchased the SLP headers with a.i.r.. I am not afraid to weld on them to make this work.
I have to make this thing get through Virginia emmisions and inspection so I don't want to delete any of the emmissions.
Thanks

I will figure something out on this one. When I finish I will post a picture and directions on how I did it. Some of us have to meet emissions, so this might mean something to people now and surely in the future.

I did that. I used steam pipe fittings . I screwed a t fitting unto the top of the air fitting. I connected the front to the air pump. the back I used a reducer and a thick rubber hose (it came from the old l98 smog pump) I cut the end off of the flexible egr pipe and slid the hose over it and clamped it. I have 3000 mile on my car since the swap and passed the im240 roller test. it seems to have worked fine. I thought of welding it on but I don't have the capability to weld stainless right now.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply.
I talked to a local shop and they said to buy another factory egr line and cut the end off and weld it to the header, as they are both stainless it wouldn't be a problem. I am probably going to do that. I will post pics when I get that sorted out.
