Okay guys, before you start thowing things at me please t
hear me out. Just picked up a '91 RS with a well worn 305. A new motor is definetly in the planning stages, but I'm not sure if I should get a 350 or try and play with the 305.

If I go to the 350 will all of my TBI stuff still bolt up? Is it a simply motor swap or are there other things involved?

 

It's a simple motor swap with a few other things involved.

Larger injectors are typically recommended. Larger exhaust is a must if you want to get anything close to the increased potential out of the larger engine.

 

i would go right to a 350 if you can! the swap should be real easy since your already had a v8 in the car.. good luck

 

ya know...im torn between the same decision. my l03 has 140k+ mi on it and i dont know if i want to save a few bucks and play with the 305 or go with the 350. i will probably end up with the 350 cause i have to be able to flex on any other 3rd gen i come up on...especially since there is a high school brat that lives 3 blocks from me with the same car as mine (coral blue 89 RS). i want that kid to know his car in inferior when i rumble by him. ....i have issues
