I just put in a 350 motor in my 79 camaro z28 it came from a 83 carpri's ......... how much horsepower would it have around its all stock so far but i plan on makin it real fast

 

83' caprice 350 cubes..hmmmm..maybeee150-170 horse maybe? maybe??? not much in stock config.

 

AFAIK there were no 350s in a 83 Caprice... those came with the LG4 305.

The 350 that came in the 79 Z28 had about 180 HP IIRC.... I know all the ones of those I ever had, sure didn't have any nads. When I bought this 83 L69 car, I traded a 79 Z28 4-speed for it; the 83 (190 HP, 400 lbs lighter) felt a good half-second faster. I had a 78 Z28 auto at the same time that was even more pitiful than the 79.
