V8 - V6

Hi, my friend got a 82 T/A right now his got a 305 ci V8 LG4, and he wants a engine that doens't drink so much, cause the gas isn't as cheap here in Switzerland. Now I am asking what kind of engine would you suggest? and could you give me the specs plus pricing for it?! Thanks!

too bad you live in switzerland, i would love to swap motors with you. i got a 3.1 v6 it gets pretty good gas mileage (as long as my feet aren't heavy).

I have yet to find a TPI V-8 driver that got worse gas mileage than a v-6. So far what I have seen and heard the TPI V-8 Motors get better gas mileage. On the highway my 2.8 gets 270 to the tank with NO traffic and thats with good plugs and wires. The IROCS and TPI cars get a minimum of 270 when they are runing good. More efficent motors.

I agree. It would make more sense to convert to TPI than it would to swap in a V6.
