I am planning on a 305 to 350 swap in my '86 Iroc and am going to use the '86 TPI. The 350 is a '90 model so it has centerbolt heads. I have been told my '86 intake will have to be drilled out to bolt to centerbolt heads, so my question is if I get a TPI intake from maybe an '89 TPI, will it bolt up without modification? I think I found one on e-bay, but the auction ends shortly. THANKS for your help on this!! OH.. I would search, but it is disabled... *S*

 

yes the 89 will fit. 86's have different mounting holes than the 89's one has straight holes as the other has angled holes. so the 89 setup will work with 89 heads

Thanks Earl!! I will look around for a newer intake. Gee... this project is getting more expensive by the hour. *LOL* Guess it never ends. Noone ever told me horsepower was cheap. Later!!
