looking to rebuild my l98 in my '91 Z28. what's a good combo for a 383, heads, cam, headers, etc... wanting to keep the stock tpi, with, of course, new intake manifold, runners, plenty of porting.

other thing is, where is a good place to get 383 stroker kits, someone suggested strokerkits.com. any other places?

one big question, what kind of gas mileage does anyone get with your setup?

if getting car inspected is not a problem, would it be better to switch to a carb?

I want a powerful engine, but not too hard on the gase mileage
I'd like to stay above 10 or better if I could.

 

gm makes a 383 fastburn crate.....try that with a nice miniram III.

then you'll have a spare engine as well.
