No used parts available in Germany

Hallo to everybody !
Iīve a TPI-305-IROC with the old 870 ECM. Now I want to swap to a 350. After searching the archives, I think there are 3 things to change : New injectors, a new knocksensor and a new prom. Is this right so far ? - Now, Iīve one big problem : I live in Germany, and I have no possibility to get some parts from the junkyard. That means : 8 new injectors cost about 900 Euro, a new Prom isnīt available ( what Prom can I use ? - A Camaro with the 350-TPI didnīt exist in 1985. Should I use the Corvette-Prom ?? ) The best thing would be a new ECM ... about 500 Euro.
Perhaps I should emigrate ???
What would happen, if I just put the TPI-Setup on the new 350 without changing anything ??
Thanks, Uwe

You will have to get a AFPR and crank the pressure way up.

Try Summit ( www.summitracing.com ) for parts like the injectors. They are very good at shipping things to Europe - just check what the situation is in your country regarding import or value added taxes.

Consider burning your own PROM's etc.

Go on holiday to the USA to buy stuff and bring it home with you.

Good luck with things.

Nothing, unless you run extremely lean, You could just reuse the 85 305 prom and injectors and knock sensor without any problems, but you should at least get an adjustable Fuel pressure regulator to give the 350 a little more fuel than the 305. (if you dont have access to one of those, shim your regulator). I have done this on one of my 85 TPI cars with a semi worked 350 until I could afford to upgrade the other stuff.
Good Luck!
