Pictures of my swap and Wiring Questions
Well, I did a little bit more work to the car today and started to tackle the wiring aspect of the swap.
Here are a few pictures I took this evening.
Here is the stainless steel braided throttle cable,

The 4th gen brake and gas pedal,

This is where I am mounting the Fuse box. I don't think I need it, but it has a terminal I can use for my batter wire that comes from the back of the car.

I am mounting the PCM on the drivers side battery tray. This seems to be the standard location when using a B-Body LT1 Harness.

Now with the questions.
I have the B-body Hub and Balancer and I noticed that with the Camaro accessory bracket the balancer was about 1/2" too far out. I put these spacers I had lying around behind the bracket and it lines up. I happened to have 4 of them. Will this work for me or should I find my b-body bracket.

With the wiring, what is the easiest way to get rid of wires and connectors that I am not going to use and does anyone have a guide showing which connectors are what (I know what all the main connectors are, it's just the ones that don't have anyplace to go which are giving my problems).

Thanks

I would change to the correct hub and balancer rather than getting b-body brackets. The folks at street and performance can help you out. www.hotrodlane.cc
Good to see your swap is going along well.

Thanks.
I noticed that with those little spacers, I can remove the valve cover without having to move the alternator first.
I have both sets of brackets, the b-body bracket which came with the motor is getting powder coated right now, that's why I put the f-body one on.
If I can find an f-body hub and balancer cheap, I may just swap over since I'll get 1/2" more clearance on the front of the motor.

Well I know this isn't much help now but I wish you would hvae went with a painless harness. They are great help. I bought a used for $150 in like new condition. Brand new this harness was $600 but everything is labeled (a few aren't because it is used). The only other way would be to buy some of that tubing and wrap it around. That's probably what I will do. I will let you know when I actually hook everything up.

Let me know how your wiring project goes.
My friend has a used hub he'll give me from a 95 Z.
I will let you know how it goes. I haven't started other than cutting the old TPI wires and harness out. All my gauges are eliminated and everyting. starting from scratch literally except for ignition, lights, door panels/locks. I plan on keeping some type of journal over everything but I will update you as i go.
