yard 350 hunting

going to the yard this weekend to pickup a 350....what trucks came with the vortec heads?......what ways are there to recognise them,.....serial #'s?

An easy way to tell a vortec head is to look at the intake bolts. They go straight down instead of at an angle. I'm not sure of the years for these engines. Hope this helps.
