l98 to ls1

Ok, contemplating the swap out of a tpi l98 auto for the ls1, either auto or stick. Are the extra two gears worth it? I mean the auto combo is so much cheaper, plus you don't have to get the extra stuff like clutch, etc. I'm just wondering what my advantages and disadvantages are in either case. Thanks.

You are better off going with the A4. Not only do you not have to deal with the conversion issue, it is more reliable. There are a lot of problems plauging the M6. The 3/4 shift fork has been known to bend. Also most people have to drill mod their slave cyl because the clutch will stick sometimes. Overall the A4 is more reliable.
