theres a guy in my area who has a GTA L98 for sale complete with TPI,harness, and manifolds with 88k on the motor.i was wondering how much just the motor would be worth,without the TPI.i would love to buy this and get the 305 out,but i dont know how much to offer him for just the motor.i was thinking 400-500 bucks.is that too much or to little?any suggestions?thanks!

 

I would say $500 is a very handsome offer for just the engine less TPI and other electronics. I would first offer less and then go up to that if necessary. Don't be seem anxious up front and you will probably get yourself a good deal...
