What is the maximum possible displacement of a 305 that is bored and stroked?

305 cubic inches.
Actually, that's the largest size that it makes any sense to spend any money on. If you make it bigger than that, start with a 4" bore block (aka 350).

To answer the question...
You can use a 3.75" stroke crank that, on a 4" block, would make a 383. This makes a 335 out of your 305, and that is not including any overbores.
The most you can overbore is 0.060"... thats pushing it though. Just go 0.030" over.
