lt1 vss and 91 camaro speedo

Do i need to put anything in between the lt1's vss and the speedometer or do they use the same signals? I'm trying to get everything figuered out before i even start putting it in.

Use the output wire from the LT1 pcm for speedo and hook it directly to your speedo. Works like a charm.

you cant just directly connect the two... you would need a converter box..

however, if you have a LT1 installed, i THINK, not positive, that you can splice off the LT1s gauge output and it works..

im learning for my LT1 swap, and this is one of the few things im fuzzy on too...

cd90rs is right...just connect the output wire from the PCM of the Lt1 to the gauge input wire(easiest where the original VSS was plugged in at) of the Camaro and it should work fine. It maybe off due to the rear end and/or tire size.
